The Flag, Watford, 29.06.12

Radio Seattle, The Flag, 29.06.12

So, back at The Flag with a brand new set transporting a small but appreciative audience back to early 90s Seattle. Spoonman’s chunky riff, and wah-drenched solo, kicked things off, swiftly followed by some quiet verse/loud chorus work that could only mean classic Nirvana. A Dirt double bill kept the tempo up and the fuzz pedal busy, before we took a quick detour down the west coast interstate to San Diego’s Stone Temple Pilots. Then back to Seattle to finish off with a reflective Better Man and a storming State of Love and Trust. All over too soon!

Unfortunately the camcorder misfired, so no videos, but plenty of photos of the gig in the Photos tab along the top menu (scroll down past the photos from the March gigs). And of course more on the band on our Facebook, Reverb Nation and Myspace pages and via our Twitter accounts @radioseattle and @markofthehour.

Thanks to everyone who came along! We’ve got more gigs in the pipeline; watch this space…
